Los Angeles, California - The Dallas Wings (18-18) ended the regular season by defeating the Los Angeles Sparks (13-23), 116 - 88, at Crypto.Com Arena, Sunday evening.

The Dallas Wings lit up the scoreboard in the second quarter, scoring a franchise-high 41 points. The Wings 66 points at the end of the first half is also the most since the team moved to Dallas and ties the second highest scoring half in the WNBA this season. Much of the scoring was facilitated by guard Ty Harris, who had a career-high tying 18 points and 11 assists (career high) to record her first career double-double.

Four other Wings players reached double-figures, led by Marina Mabrey, who netted 27. She was joined by Teaira McCowan (24), Kayla Thornton (15) and Allisha Gray (14). As a team, the Wings recorded a season-high in points (116 - tied for second most in the WNBA), assists (33) and field-goal percentage (65.6%).

Dallas begins the postseason at the Connecticut Sun (25-11) on Thursday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPNU and NBA TV.

Notables:

Teaira McCowan recorded her 1,000th career rebound in the first quarter. She finished with 8 rebounds and 24 points.

The Wings ended the regular season with the best winning percentage since moving to Dallas.

Dallas scored 66 points in the first half and 41 points in the second quarter, both franchise highs. 66 points ties the second highest scoring first half this season and ties for the ninth highest scoring half in WNBA history.

The Wings set a season-high in points (116), points in a half (61), assists (33), and field-goal percentage (65.6). The 116 points are the most in a four-quarter game for the Wings and tied for the second most in the WNBA this season. The 65.6 field goal percentage is the highest in franchise history.

Marina Mabrey netted 27 points, her eighth game with 20 or more.

Veteran duo Kayla Thornton and Allisha Gray both reached double-digits, scoring 15 and 14, respectively.

Ty Harris recorded her first career double-double, with a career-high tying 18 points and 11 assists.

The Wings made 21 free throws tonight, the ninth time this season they have made 20 or more free throws.
