Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announce the tender signing of defenseman Daniel Buchbinder ahead of the 2023-24 hockey season.
The 6'3 ¬Â³ 195 lb. native of Buffalo, NY has played his past three seasons with the Northwoods School Huskies. In his current season, he's recorded a goal and 16 assists in 29 games played.
"Buchbinder is a very smart defender with great vision and quickness in his own end," Wings head coach Scott Langer said. "He makes good reads in the defensive zone and uses his size to defend in all areas. His puck-moving skills, hands, and shot are very high end. He makes great first-pass decisions and reads plays well, and has the ability to join the rush and become part of the offense. We'll look to him to contribute in all areas of our game early as he plays close to that now. He'll be another exciting player to watch wearing a Wings' sweater."
