Wildcats basketball comes to Mississippi

JACKSON, MS -- The USBL Wildcats have announced their move to Jackson, Mississippi where they will begin play for the 2007 season. New owner Carlos Moore identified Mississippi as an ideal location for moving the team. "Mississippi has always had a large number of basketball fans, and our introduction of the Wildcats here has been met with great enthusiasm. We're excited, and we know basketball fans will be too," reported Moore.

The Wildcats have been dormant since 2004. They were formerly located in Glens Falls, NY. The 2007 Season will begin April and run through June. More information about the United States Basketball league can be found at www.usbl.com.
