Wild Re-Sign Kassanavoid, Daniels, Riffel

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Wild Professional Indoor Football team has re-signed three stand out players to continue playing for the Wild in 2013. Joe Kassanavoid (LB), Kiaree Daniels (DB), and Kyle Riffel (WR) have all re-signed as the Wild get set for their first season playing in the Champions Professional Indoor Football League next spring.

The former Kansas State Wildcat Linebacker Joe Kassanavoid signed last spring after open tryouts and quickly became a threat to offenses across the league. Kassanavoid had a stand out rookie season and was a key contributer to the Wild's success on the defensive side of the ball with 67 tackles and 2 forced fumbles. Joe is a versitile athlete on defense and special teams, which will help the Wild load up for a championship run in 2013.

Kiaree Daniels out of Northern Illinois returns to the Wild defensive secondary this year after a solid 2012 season where he recoreded 52 tackles and an interception. Kiaree adds depth in Coach Lolar's defensive secondary as well as provides a solid kick return threat on special teams.

Continuing to transition to the CPIFL the Wild re-sign, Kyle Riffel a former Iowa Hawkeye at the receiver spot. Kyle brings experience to the Wild receiving core that will help the team continue to compete at the top of the league offensively. Kyle came up big in last year's New Mexico win with a touchdown reception in a close victory for the Wild.
