The Whitecaps Men were full value for a 1-0 win in Edmonton, giving them a split in their Alberta road swing. Forward Davide Xausa scored the game's only goal in the 84th minute. The Whitecaps out-shot their hosts 12-4 on the evening, including a rare penalty kick miss from Oliver Heald who hit the crossbar.
