
Whitecaps FC Loan Five Players to WFC2 for Sunday's

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that five players have been loaned from the club's Major League Soccer side to Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) for Sunday's home match against Sacramento Republic FC (2 p.m. PT at UBC Thunderbird Stadium - tickets available online and at the door).The list of loanees include recently signed Canadian defender David Edgar, who continues to work up to full fitness, 15-year-old Alphonso Davies, who signed with the first team on July 15 after eight appearances with WFC2, and midfielders Marco Bustos, Kianz Froese, and Ben McKendry.
All five players appeared for Whitecaps FC in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace FC.
Players on loan to USL may compete for both the USL and MLS sides over the course of the season, and will be made available to USL on a week-to-week basis.
This year, every Tier 1 'Caps Club MLS membership includes three open tickets to WFC2 matches. Members can select their matches and theme days online through Account Manager. Information on theme days is available at whitecapsfc.com/wfc2/themedays.
