Danbury Whalers News Release


Tonight, the Danbury Whalers are home for the 2nd of a 3-game weekend series of games. The Whalers are home on Saturday, January 3rd against the Danville Dashers, and Sunday, January 4th also against the Dashers. Gametimes are Saturday at 7:35 pm, Sunday is 5 pm.

Saturday night is a great night for hockey.

The Whalers won last night in Overtime against the Berkshire Battalion. The Dashers lost last night in Watertown. The Whalers are in 1st place and the roll to the playoffs is on. The Dashers are in 4th and are trying to hold off Berkshire.

Danville is always a rough tough team. It's going to a battle.

Saturday it's the 1st installment of the 2nd Annual Cookhouse Rib Eating Challenge. Sign up today to see if you are the King of the Ribs.

On Sunday it's a Kids Club Game, members of the Kids Club receive a complimentary ticket. To sign up for the Kids Club, click this link.

Sunday is also a Skate with the Whalers. After the game, join the Whalers players on the ice and skate with the team. Always a fun event.
