The Danbury Whalers are home this week for a two game series against the Watertown Privateers. The Whalers meet the Privateers on Thursday, February 20th & Friday, February 21st.

Gametimes on both nights are at 7:35 PM.

Thursday is going to be a hard hitting game. The Whalers are in first and the Privateers are trying to hold on to 3rd place.

Friday Night's promotion is Union Savings Bank Banner Night.

Fans of all ages will be asked to design and construct a banner with a message, slogan, or tribute to the team. There will be a panel of judges as well as a vote from the fans. The winning banners will take home a grand prize package courtesy of Union Savings Bank and the Danbury Whalers.

Banners will be brought out onto the ice during the 2nd intermission for a parade and display for the fans.

Friday is also Buffalo Wild Wings Mom's Appreciation Night.

On this night, Buffalo Wild Wings extends an offer to all Moms.

Receive a complimentary ticket to that night's Whalers game Enjoy a complimentary pre-game meal of wings Plus a beverage of your choice at Buffalo Wild Wings.

In addition at the game that night, all participating Moms will be invited down to the ice. Here they will participate in a contest to try to win a great gift package.

The on ice contest will be both crowd vote and competition as the crowd will get to vote on their favorite Mom story as well as a shootout challenge.

This week will also feature two fundraising programs. Friday Rogers Park Middle School in Danbury and Martini Glass Acepella will be participating.
