
WHA2 Announces Preseason Schedule

CELEBRATION, Fla. â The World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) today announced that three preseason games have been scheduled for the first weekend in November.
On Saturday, November 1st, the Jacksonville Barracudas will take on the Orlando Seals for a 4:00pm game. The game will be played at the Ice Den at RDV Sportsplex, the Seals recently announced new practice facility partner. The RDV Sportsplex is located at 8701 Maitland Summit Blvd., Orlando. Admission is free for season ticket holders and $4 for all others. Proceeds from the game will be donated to the WHA2 Hockey4Kids charity.
The Lakeland Loggerheads will travel to Miami to take on the Manatees on Saturday, November 1st. Kendall Ice Arena, located at 10355 Hammocks Blvd, Kendall, will host the 7:00pm game. Admission is $5.
Rounding out the pre-season, the Seals will take on the Lakeland Loggerheads on November 2nd at the Lakeland Center, 701 West Lime Street, Lakeland. Admission to the preseason game will be free to fans who donate non-perishable food items to benefit Talbot House Ministries of Lakeland. All others may purchase tickets for $5 and proceeds will be donated to Lighthouse Ministries of Lakeland.
The WHA2 will ice six teams for the 2003 â 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Each team will play a 60 game schedule beginning on November 6th.
