WHA2 Announces All-Star Officials

CELEBRATION, Fla. – The World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) today announced the officials for the Inaugural WHA2 All-Star Game taking place on January 27 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Puck drop is 7:05pm.

For the All-Star Game, the WHA2 will have two referees and two linesmen. Mike Galloway and Mike Hughes will handle the referee duties. Derek Devivo and Shane Klatt have been named linesmen.

"These officials have demonstrated professionalism and ability on and off the ice this season." WHA2 Director of Officiating Clay Sigurdson said. "I am proud to work with them and know they will do a great job at the All-Star Game."

In the All-Star Game, the Jacksonville Barracudas will take on the best of the WHA2. Orlando Seals Head Coach Jim Paek and Miami Manatees Head Coach Zac Boyer will coach the All-Stars.

The WHA2 has six member teams for the 2003 – 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Every game is broadcast on www.irn.fm.
