
Western Regional Combine this Thursday in Regina

REGINA - Western Canadian Football League prospects for the 2017 CFL Draft will have their final opportunity to receive an invite to the CFL Combine presented by adidas tomorrow. Following the Eastern Regional Combine in Montreal and the Ontario Regional Combine in Toronto, Regina hosts the Western Regional Combine presented by adidas on March 23rd to complete five consecutive years of regional combines ahead of the national CFL Combine.
Five players from the Ontario Regional Combine were invited to the National Combine last weekend in Toronto, joining five players from the Eastern Regional Combine.
The CFL Combine presented by adidas will take place in Regina as part of the Mark's CFL Week festivities with the top prospects testing and competing in front of CFL coaches, general managers and player personnel between March 23 and 25.
CFL.ca will have results from Friday's regional combine as well as an article previewing five prospects to follow.

SCHEDULE: WESTERN REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY ADIDAS
THURSDAY, MARCH 10 - EVRAZ PLACE
Order of testing: OL, DL, RB, LB, WR, DB
7:30 a.m. Player registration at Evraz Place
8:00 a.m. Height & weight, hand & arm measurements, video shoot, vertical jump, broad jump and bench press (225 lbs.)
10:00 a.m. 40-yard dash, short shuttle and three-cone drill
12:30 p.m. Positional drills and one-on-ones
12:30 p.m. - OL/DL drills
1:00 p.m. - QB/RB/LB drills
1:45 p.m. - WR/DB drills
2:35 p.m. - Long snappers/punters/kickers
2:50 p.m. Announcement of players invited to CFL Combine presented by adidas
Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.
