Wednesday, Jan. 27 - PENGUINS 1 vs. Hartford 3

Niclas Andersén scored his third of the season, but Wilkes-Barre/Scranton was handed its first loss of the season when tied after two periods. Matt Murray allowed just two goals or less for the 17th time this season.

Friday, Jan. 29 - PENGUINS 3 at Lehigh Valley 4 OT

After the Phantoms scored three-straight third period goals, the unfazed Penguins tied the game on a Kael Mouillierat marker to force overtime 36 seconds after Lehigh Valley took the lead. The Pens are 7-1-1-1 all-time at PPL Center.

Saturday, Jan. 30 - PENGUINS 3 vs. Lehigh Valley 5

A controversial goal proved to be the game-winner in a penalty-filled contest on the back-end of a home and home between the Pens and Phantoms. Scott Wilson scored his league-leading 21st and 22nd goals of the season.

Monday, Feb. 1 - AHL ALL-STAR CHALLENGE: Syracuse, N.Y.

Penguins associate coach Jay Leach led the Atlantic Division to the final of the AHL All-Star Challenge, but ultimately fell to the Central Division, 4-0. The Atlantic went 2-0-1 in the round robin phase. Will O'Neill posted one assist.

The Week Ahead

Friday, Feb. 5 - PENGUINS at Springfield

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton comes out of the All-Star break with a contest at Springfield. The Penguins are 3-0-0-0 this season against the Falcons and 3-0-0-0 in their last three at MassMutual center

Saturday, Feb. 6 - PENGUINS vs. Bridgeport

The Penguins team up with American Cancer Society to host "Pink in the Rink" night. The Penguins and Sound Tigers have split the season series thus far and haven't met since Oct. 18, 2015.

Ice Chips

- Monday's All-Star Challenge was Will O'Neill's first all-star game of any kind, dating back to his days in midget, high school, and junior hockey.

- O'Neill has 11 points (2G-9A) in his last 11 games and factored in on a third of his team's total goals in that time.

- Kael Mouillierat has recorded eight points (2G-6A) in his last eight games, including three multi-point games.

- The Penguins are 7-2-0-0 in their first game out of the All-Star break over the past nine seasons.

- Last year, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's first opponent out of the All-Star break was also Springfield. In that match-up, the Penguins skated to a 5-0 victory.
