Rockford Thunder News Release
ROCKFORD - Thunder general manager Aaron M. Moore announced Wednesday that Rockford's upcoming series with Team Canada has been moved from the team's everyday stadium at Sportscore One to Players Park in Roscoe. This move has been made due to heavy flooding at the entire Sportscore complex.
Players Park is located at 5444 Swanson Road, just north of Machesney Park and east of Illinois Highway 251. You can view a map of the area by clicking visiting http://thunderprofastpitch.com.ismmedia.com/ISM2//Misc/PlayersPark.jpg.
The Thunder's recent series against the Netherlands national team was also successfully played at Players Park. The facility has sufficient bleacher seating for Thunder games, as well as plenty of room to set up portable chairs along the fence line.
All game times and dates will remain the same as previously posted. Tickets for games played at Players Park are $5 for any seat, and can be purchased at the gate an hour prior to each game. All season ticket holders and sponsors will be allowed in the game with their proper credentials.
The series will be played as follows:
Thursday, June 19 - 6:35 pm
Friday, June 20 - 6:35 pm
Saturday, June 21 - 5:35 pm
Sunday, June 22 - 3:05 pm
