Week Eight Players of the Week Named
January 25, 2023 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week Eight Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. Baltimore Blast's Lucas Roque earned the offensive win and the Empire Strykers' Chris Toth won the defensive honors.
Roque had seven goals and two assists through two contests with the Blast last week. Included in that performance was a hat trick and a game-winning goal. He now leads the league in both points and goals.
Toth secured two wins for the Strykers. His efforts held the opposition to only five goals and he recorded 21 saves. The goalkeeper is now second in all-time saves in the MASL, 22 behind Tacoma's Danny Waltman.
