Week 4: Chavez Earns Win for RGV FC over Austin

EDINBURG, Texas - Juan Chavez secured a 2-0 win for Rio Grande Valley FC over Austin Bold FC, as Italy, in the USL eCup: Week 4 Semifinals. With the win, RGV FC will continue on to the Finals of the tournament.
The first half was full of action but remained scoreless. Brazil went in on the action first in the 16th minute after a dangerous shot but the keeper blocked it out to corner. Italy then attacked in the 28th minute but the keeper kept the clean sheet. Both teams continued to attack going to the half.
In the 58th minute, Boas Santos attacked Italy's goal where the keeper blocked the shot, where then Boas Santos finished with a header to the back of the net, 1-0. Before the final whistle, Cabrais received a center pass inside the box where he struck the ball sending it to the right post securing a 2-0 score for Brazil.
The Toros will matchup against the winner between New York Red Bulls II and Union Omaha on Friday, May 29 at 8:00 p.m. CST. All games will be streamed on the Toros Twitch Channel (RGVFCToros).
