Week 3 Players of the Week Named
December 21, 2022 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week Three Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. The Kansas City Comet's Lucas Sousa earned the offensive win and Harrisburg Heat's Chase Vosvick won the defensive honors.
Lucas Sousa recorded six points in Week Three, including a hat trick against the Milwaukee Wave and three assists. In Sousa's third season with the Comets he is ranked third in the MASL for points and second for goals scored.
The Heat's rookie goalkeeper earned his first win Saturday night against the Blast. Vosvick had thirteen saves in the win and allowed only four goals. He most recently played for the USL's Pittsburgh Riverhounds before joining the Heat.
