Week 3: Kibato and RGV FC En Route to Finals with Win over Red Bulls II

EDINBURG, Texas - Kembo Kibato earned a 3-1 win for Rio Grande Valley FC over New York Red Bulls II in the semifinal of the USL eCup: FIFA20 Edition.
New York, as Chile, and Brazil met once again as in week 2, Brazil was eliminated after a "golden goal" from Chile. This week, Brazil struck first with a goal from Boas Santos in the 8th minute, 1-0. Chile then equalized four minutes later with a goal from Orellana 1-1.
Brazil continued to be a threat as in the 19th minute they took a shot, striking the left post. In the 35th minute Santeiro took a left footed shot sending the ball to the left side of the goal, earning Brazil the 2-1 lead.
As the second half began, Santeiro earned his brace after taking a strike with a left footed shot to the back of the net, 3-1. Both teams continued to threaten the goals until the final whistle.
RGV FC will face the winning team between Austin Bold FC and Saint Louis FC in the final of the tournament on Friday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. CST. All games will be streamed on the Toros Twitch Channel (RGVFCToros).
