The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 2 of the 2016 IFL season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jordan Jolly (WR, Wichita Falls Nighthawks)

Wichita Falls Nighthawks WR Jordan Jolly had a night for the record books in the team's last second 56-55 loss to the Spokane Empire. Jolly's 14 receptions tied for the second-most receptions in a single game in IFL history and was the most a receiver has had in the IFL since 2013. Jolly (6'2,205, Navarro College) was the keystone weapon in the Nighthawks furious comeback in Spokane as he accounted for two touchdown catches in the fourth quarter. Jolly finished the night with 14 receptions, 117 yards and three touchdowns. The Nighthawks look to maintain a strong aerial attack as in their home opener as they host the Colorado Crush Friday night.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jon Setzer (DB. Sioux Falls Storm)

Last Saturday the Sioux Falls Storm defeated the Cedar Rapids Titans 54-45 in a rematch of the 2015 United Conference Championship game. In a battle of the two juggernaughts Sioux Falls Storm DB Jon Setzer single handidly turned the tide in the Storm's favor. Setzer (5'11,190,Winston Salem State University) intercepted Titans QB Dylan Farve three times in the first half to stymie the Titans' offense. Setzer also had three tackles in the game. Setzer in only the third defensive back in the past two seasons to have three interceptions in a single game (K. Ridley, GB and C.Hemphill, BIL). The Sioux Falls Storm head to the frozen tundra this weekend to take on the Green Bay Blizzard.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Spencer Groner (K, Billings Wolves)

The Billings Wolves moved to 1-1 on the season with a 47-30 victory over the Colorado Crush last weekend. Key to that victory was kicker Spencer Groner. Groner (6'2,230, Snow College) proved to be incredibly reliable as he converted two field goals, one of which was 47 yards, to help the Wolves earn their first victory of the season. In addition, he converted five of his six PAT attempts and finished the game with 11 total points. Groner and the Wolves head to the West Coast this weekend to take on inter-conference rival, the Tri-Cities Fever.
