WEEK 17 Players of the Week Named

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 17 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. The Milwaukee Wave's Ian Bennett earned the offensive win and Chihuahua's Berna Valdovinos won the defensive honors.
Ian Bennett had six goals and three assists during Week 17. In the 9-6 win over Dallas, he recorded two goals and two assists. He scored four goals and an assist in Milwaukee's 8-6 win over Kansas City. He has a 22-game point streak and has scored at least one goal in 15 consecutive games.
Berna Valdovinos won two games on the road in Tacoma with 10 saves on Friday and 11 on Saturday, allowing only eight combined goals over the two games. Valdovinos is second in the league with 14 wins in goal.
