What to Look Out For

Stick Trick Contest

The New York Lizards want to see your tricks. Post a video on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook showing the Lizards what you got. Make sure to hashtag #ILOVENYL and #WeWantTheCup. The five best videos will receive a Paul Rabil and Rob Pannell combo poster. The deadline is July 31st.

Rob Pannell looks to reach 100 goal Milestone

Pannel has netted 95 regular season goals throughout his Major League Lacrosse career. He sits only five goals away from reaching the 100 goal milestone. So far this season, Pannell has had 37 goals which is a season high for him.

MLL Burn Cancer Week

Major League Lacrosse will hold their second annual "Burn Cancer Week" leading up to the final day of MLL games on Saturday, July 25, 2015. "Burn Cancer Week" is a league-wide initiative launched to support the HEADstrong Foundation in an effort to raise cancer awareness. The New York Lizards will take the field wearing lime green HEADstrong shoelaces while the coaches will wear polos of the same color.

Coaches' Notes

Head Coach Joe Spallina touches on Nicky Polanco's injury: "It is not looking good. He'll definitely be out this week but we're waiting for a second opinion. It may be an early season for him."

In regards to the last regular season game: "Denver is a great team. I'm challenging our guys this week. This group is pissed off, none of them are happy about what happened last week. We've never won out in Denver so the guys really want this."

Looking Ahead

The New York Lizards will head home to host their first ever home playoff game on August 1st. Come out to James M. Shuart Stadium to watch the Lizards in the Major League Lacrosse Semi-Finals at 6:30pm.
