March 7, 2023 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 14 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. Tacoma Stars' Nick Perera earned the offensive win and the Baltimore Blast's William Vanzela won the defensive honors.
Nick Perera scored four goals and seven assists in two games for the Stars this past week. Perera is second in the MASL for career assists with 190, trailing Leo Gibson at 218.
William Vanzela scored a goal in the Blast's home win over the Kansas City Comets on Friday night. He allowed only two goals in the game and made 31 stops.
