The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Week 12 Vidswap.com Players of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Steven Whitehead (WR, Tri-Cities Fever)
The Tri-Cities Fever continue to be one of the hottest teams in the league having won six of their past seven games. The Fever most recently dispatched inter-conference rival the Colorado Ice 52-36. The Fever's all-time leading receiver, Steven Whitehead, proved to be a dual threat against the Ice and helped cement the Fever's stance in the Intense Conference. In a back and forth game, Whitehead's fourth quarter touchdown run put the Fever ahead of the Ice for good. Whitehead finished the game with 11 receptions for 118 yards and two touchdown receptions. He also rushed three times for 16 yards and another touchdown. Whitehead's 11 receptions were tied for the most in a single game in the IFL this season. Whitehead currently leads the league in receiving yards with 748 yards. The Fever will look for their fourth consecutive victory as the team hosts the Billings Wolves this week.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Michael Green (DB, Billings Wolves)
The Billings Wolves earned their first home victory in considerable fashion after dismantling the Bemidji Axemen 70-25. The Wolves scored four touchdowns in the second quarter alone to help the team score the most points in their young franchise history. DB Michael Green added to the team's memorable night with several memorable moments of his own, earning defensive player of the week honors. Late in the fourth quarter as the Axemen had driven down the field, Green intercepted a Bemidji pass in the endzone and returned 58 yards for a touchdown. In addition, Green had nine tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. Green's nine tackles were tied for the team lead. The Billings Wolves will look to build on their success this week as they attempt to upset the Tri-Cities Fever.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Demetruce McNeal (KR, Cedar Rapids Titans)
The Cedar Rapids Titans emerged victorious in the second-ever "Iowa Bowl" after taking down the Iowa Barnstormers 50-46. KR Demetruce McNeal proved essential for the Titans as he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, both in the second half. McNeal's second kickoff return touchdown put the Titans ahead of the Barnstormers with less than four minutes to play. McNeal finished the game with four kickoff returns for 114 yards and two touchdowns. McNeal is the first IFL player this season to have two kickoff return touchdowns in the same game. He also was an essential piece of the Titans defense as he accounted for 12 tackles. This is McNeal's second Special Teams Player of the Week honor this season. McNeal and the Titans have a bye week this week before traveling to Green Bay for a key inter-conference game vs the Blizzard.
