Milwaukee, Wisc. - For the second time in four days, the Philadelphia KiXX (7-12) and Milwaukee Wave (14-6) battled to a two-point decision at the U.S. Cellular Arena. The KiXX, who were led by a Ptah Myers hat trick, battled for 60 minutes tonight, but it was Milwaukee who took the result, 12-10.

Milwaukee was able to get on the scoreboard first in this affair, with forward Tom Oatley setting up Kyt Selaidopoulos for two points at 6:15 in the first quarter. The Wave then stretched it to 4-0 behind a Marcelo Fontana to Ian Bennett notch at the 11:40 mark.

At the 5:27 mark of the second period, Oatley registered his first professional goal to make it 6-0 in favor of Milwaukee. While on the power play at 8:16, Philadelphia got itself on the board when Myers scored a ball from midfielder Ricardinho, hanging a 6-2 count. The final knock of the opening half was scored off the foot of Wave midfielder Kyle Lance, and the score at halftime was 8-2 with the home team leading.

Philadelphia came into the second half with an immediately inspired effort, and the team was able to quickly close the gap to 8-6. First, defender Kevin Coleman scored a Shawn Boney restart ball for his first professional goal at 2:15, and forward Adauto Neto set up a Semir Mesanovic notch at 3:22. The assist for Neto extended his point streak to 18 consecutive games. The Wave was then able to answer back on goals from Oatley and Fontana, and a score of 12-6 took the two sides into the fourth frame.

The KiXX were able to put a pair of goals on the board in the final stanza, both by Myers on the power play. The pair gave him a hat trick on the evening, with Neto and Mesanovic recording the assists on those final two tallies.
