
Watch Blues' National Team Players Prepare for Rio

KANSAS CITY - Although FC Kansas City does not have a match this week, four Blues will be competing as their respective National Teams continue preparation for the Rio Olympic Games.
Heather O'Reilly and Becky Sauerbrunn return to the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup champion U.S. Women's National Team. They will play two friendlies against runner-up Japan at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday and 11:30 a.m. CT on Sunday. The first will be broadcast on FS1 and the second will be shown on ESPN 2.
Katie Bowen, a 2016 National Women's Soccer League College Draft pick and New Zealand national, will play in a pair of matches against Australia on Friday and Tuesday. They will be played at midnight and 2 a.m. CT, respectively.
The Blues' final international star is Desiree Scott, who plays for Canada. The team is set to face Brazil at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday and 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
All four players will rejoin FC Kansas City before the club's next match, which will be on the road against Sky Blue FC on June 11. The Blues will then continue their road trip to Houston to take on the Dash on the 19th.
