Wichita Falls Warriors News Release
WICHITA FALLS, TX - The Wichita Falls Warriors are pleased to announce the tender of 2003 defenseman Trent White.
White, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, found the decision to tender with Wichita Falls an easy one. "I've only heard amazing things about [Coach Garrett Roth] from former and current players and people from outside the organization," said White. "It was a no-brainer for me to sign here."
The defenseman currently plays for Culver Military Academy U18/prep team in Indiana. He has four points off two goals and two assists through 21 contests. In his 2020-21 campaign, White recorded 10 points.
Warriors head coach Garrett Roth looks forward to adding White to the Warriors' roster. "Trent is a high character young man that works hard and will be a nice addition to our locker room," said Roth. "He is a big body player that skates well and plays a heavy style. He has shown he can be a good puck moving defenseman that can be a shutdown caliber defender."
White was drawn to the comradery of the Warriors. "Being a part of a team where everyone is close makes it that much more fun to win and makes you want to work even harder to win for the guys around you."
When asked if there was anything else he wanted Warriors fans to know about him he exclaimed, "I'm super excited to call myself a Warrior and I can't wait to play in front of all the amazing Warrior fans!"
