
Warriors Split Exhibition Games, Head to Showcase

The Michigan Warriors split their home-and-home Exhibition Games against Adrian College, taking the Saturday game at Flint's Iceland Arena 5-1, and losing on Sunday at Adrian, 6-5.
The Warriors got 2 goals a piece from returning veteran Bobby Mantha and newcomer Kasper Guzik and a power-play goal from Jeremy Humenny in the 5-1 victory on Saturday. Meanwhile on Sunday at Adrian, a Warriors rally fell short in a 6-5 loss.
Warriors head to Blaine for Combat Hockey/NAHL Showcase The Warriors now head to Blaine Minnesota for the Combat Hockey/NAHL Showcase games. The Warriors will take on Chicago, Corpus Christi, Austin and Dawson Creek in their 4 showcase games. The Warriors games can be heard on the fasthockey network (http://nahl.fasthockey.com), with the call by Warriors Broadcaster Joey Battaino. The Warriors first game of the Showcase is Wednesday Sept 14 at 6:00PM EDT against the Chicago Hitmen.
