Michigan Warriors News Release
The Michigan Warriors are proud to announce that two members of the 2010-11 Michigan Warriors team that finished the season as the NAHL Runners-up, have been selected in the 2011 USHL Entry Draft.
Warriors Defenseman Ryan Trenz, who was selected to the NAHL All-Rookie team, was selected by the Chicago Steel with the 7th overall pick in the First Round. Later, Forward A.J. White was selected by the Muskegon Lumberjacks; White was selected with the 6th pick in Round 17.
The North American Hockey League had 5 players selected in the 1st round of the USHL Entry Draft, including the #1 overall pick, Forward Brian Christie of the Topeka Roadrunners, who was selected by the Chicago Steel.
