Warriors Holding Invite Camp

Michigan Warriors News Release


The Michigan Warriors will be holding their annual invite-only camp starting Monday July 25, thru Thursday, July 28, 2011. The invite camp will be comprised of players that General Manager/ Head Coach Moe Mantha and Director of Scouting Tom Boileau and the Warriors coaching staff selected from the various try-out camps the Warriors have held during the off-season.

Warriors Director of Scouting Tom Boileau said "We are expecting a camp with lots of energy and excitement, as the players (at the invite camp) are the best 60 skaters and 6 goaltenders from the camps we have held".

Registration for players will be held in the evening at Perani Arena on Monday July 25, with the on-ice portion of the camp being held at Flint's Iceland Arena. The Tuesday and Wednesday portions of the camp at Iceland Arena will be practices and games. The players will be divided into 4 teams that will compete in round-robin series of games, with a final "All-Star game" being held on Thursday.

The portions of camp to be held at Iceland Arena on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be open to the public and there is no charge for admission. Warriors' representatives will be on hand at Iceland with Billet Housing information as well as season-ticket information as well.
