Michigan Warriors News Release
The Michigan Warriors will be traveling 3,732 miles to Fairbanks, Alaska to play the Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the Robertson Cup Semi Finals. Fairbanks was the top team in the NAHL this season with 91 points, but there hasn't been a hotter team in the playoffs than the Warriors. The Warriors took care of the Janesville Jets and the Port Huron Fighting Falcons in only seven games, compared to the Ice Dogs ten games it took them to get through Kenai River and Wenatchee. The Warriors are also 3-0 on the road, during the 2014 NAHL playoffs.
The Semi Finals series will be best of three with the Ice Dogs hosting all three games at The Big Dipper in Fairbanks. Game one and two will be played May 2nd and 3rd at 7:30 AKST, and game three if necessary will be played on May 4th at 5:00 AKST. The winner of this series will battle the winner of the Austin Bruins and Topeka Roadrunners for the Robertson Cup.
