Jake Hopfner netted his first of the playoffs at the 10:30 mark of the 3rd Period to cut the Ice Dogs lead to 2 goals, but that was as close as Michigan would come. Michigan finished the season in 2nd place of the NAHL's North Division entering the Robertson Cup playoffs, but the Warriors swept the Janesville Jets in the first round.
