
Warriors Advance to Division Finals

Michigan Warriors News Release
The Michigan Warriors defeated the Janesville Jets Friday night 3-2 in Janesville to complete the 3-0 sweep and advance to the Division Finals. Colin Larkin started the scoring for the Warriors with an unassisted goal and later netted the game winner with 2:35 left in the third period. Jon Farkas also scored for the Warriors and added an assist on Larkin's game winner, and AJ Marcinek had 2 assists. Goal Tender Trevor Gorsuch notched his 3rd straight playoff win while stopping 31 of 33 Janesville shots.
The Warriors will now face in state rival the Port Huron Falcons in a best of 5 series. The #1 seeded Falcons also swept their first round opponent, Johnstown, 3-0. As the higher seed Port Huron will host 3 of the 5 games, however the #2 seeded Warriors posted an impressive 8-3-1 record against the division leader. Games 1 & 2 will be in Port Huron followed by games 3 and 4 (if necessary) in Flint and game 5 (if necessary) back in Port Huron. Dates and times for each game should be released by the NAHL within the next day or so.
