Warriors Acquire McCulley and 2026 Third-Round Pick from Buffalo

VANCOUVER - General Manager Curt Malawsky announced today that the Vancouver Warriors have acquired forward Brad McCulley and a third-round pick (via Rochester) in the 2026 NLL Entry Draft from the Buffalo Bandits in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2024 NLL Entry Draft and a second-round pick in the 2026 NLL Entry Draft, pending league approval.
"Brad is a local guy from BC, he's a very gritty player who plays in the middle of the floor and has won an NLL Championship," said Malawsky. "He's in great shape and is willing to do what it takes to be successful. Bringing in his championship pedigree is going to be huge for our franchise."
McCulley, 26, recorded six points (2-4-6) and two loose balls in three games with the Bandits this season. In 15 games with Buffalo during the 2022.23 season, the 6'1", 200-pound forward collected 30 points (11-19-30) and 26 loose balls. McCulley also contributed six points (3-3-6) in three playoff games to help the Bandits claim the 2023 NLL Championship.
In 23 career NLL games across three seasons, all spent with Buffalo, McCulley has registered 39 points (14-25-39), 39 penalty minutes, and 38 loose balls.
A Victoria, BC native, McCulley was originally selected in the first round, 9th overall in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft. He previously spent three seasons at Robert Morris University, finishing sixth on the team in goals in each of his two final seasons. McCulley made his WLA debut in 2019 for the Langley Thunder and led the team in points (37) while recording 20 goals in 18 games.
