Amarillo Venom News Release
Amarillo Dusters Defensive Specialist Kendrick "Boss" Walker became the second Duster this season to make a name for himself in the indoor record books on Saturday night. In leading the Dusters to an 86-71 victory over Lubbock, he intercepted his 13th and 14th passes of the season, breaking the previous arena-style single season record of 13 set by the San Jose Sabercats' Clevan Thomas in 2003. Walker joins Fullback Dewayne Miles who shattered the arena-style single season rushing record earlier this season.
The Dusters will face second-place San Angelo at the Amarillo Civic Center on Saturday night. With a win, the Dusters can clinch home-field advantage throughout the IFL playoffs.
