Walk with Team Stampede

HARRISBURG, PA (November 1, 2012) - Jill Nowotarski, the wife of the Harrisburg Stampede Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski has signed up Team Stampede to participate in Light the Night. The walk is this Saturday November 3. The walk is set up to benefit Blood Cancers. Coach Nowotarski is battling Multiple Myeloma which is a Blood Cancer.
The remembrance ceremony starts at 4:30 and the walk gets underway at 5:30. The event starts and finishes at City Island. Jill is extending an open invitation to any Stampede Fans to join us in the walk. There is no cost to walk with Team Stampede but if you can make a donation to help fight Blood Cancers you can find further information at www.lightthenight.org.
"My wife has been such a rock and so strong through all of this, she has just amazed me and now she puts together Team Stampede. This is her way to bring awareness to the different blood cancers that affect so many of us. I can't say enough about this woman, I Thank her and Love her very much." Commented Coach Nowotarski.
