In the most productive offensive game for the VooDoo, the Philadelphia Soul downed the VooDoo 79-60 in the Wells Fargo Center, Saturday night.
WR LJ Castile hauled in five touchdowns included a SportsCenter Top 10 worthy one handed catch. LJ finished with 97 yards, and all but one of his receptions were for touchdowns. Dwayne Eley led the VooDoo with nine receptions for 119 yards and 1 touchdown. Larry Beavers had a career game with 3 all-purpose touchdown. Two of Beavers touchdowns were receiving, and one was a 59 yard kick return. Quarterback Kurt Rocco finished 22-43-4 with 8 touchdowns.
Demarcus Robinson lead the VooDoo defense with 8 tackles and 1 assist.
The VooDoo take on the San Antonio Talons next Saturday in San Antonio at 7:00pm on 99.5 WRNO and ESPN3.
