
Voltigeurs' Charrette suspended one game

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, September 25, 2006 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League disciplinary committee today imposed a one game suspension to Drummondville Voltigeurs forward Francis Charrette.
The suspension follows an incident that occurred last Friday versus the Victoriaville Tigres in which Charrette illegally elbowed an opposing player.
The decision was rendered after viewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
