Vixen Looking to Pack the Den in 2004

St. Paul, MN. - Entering season number six, the Minnesota Vixen, a member of the Women's Professional Football League (WPFL), will hold open tryouts for prospective players from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on April 10, 17, & 24th, 2004 at Jimmy Lee Recreation Center (1063 Inglehart Ave., St. Paul).

The NFL-style tryouts are open to women of all shapes and sizes over the age of 18. No football experience is necessary. "My goal," stated the newly named Head Coach Wayne Erickson "is to turn a 3 and 7 (season) team into a successful, winning team, who does so while having fun."

An informational players meeting will be held Friday, April 9th @ 7 p.m. at Flaherty's Arden Bowl in Arden Hills.
