Vision Host Youth, Fitness, Family, and Fun

DULUTH, GA - February 20, 2008 - Atlanta Vision, Gwinnett's own professional basketball team, look to build upon their seven-game winning streak during a special matinee game at the Gwinnett Convention Center on Sunday, February 24th at 3:30pm. "Youth and Community" Night is the theme and will celebrate youth performances, community outreach, and family fun together.

Fans will enjoy a special performance by participants of the Jr. Vision Ladies Dance Clinic sponsored by BB&T Scenic Highway Branch, Vision of Excellence, and LIFE TIME Fitness Sugarloaf. Joining the Vision in promoting wellness, the Gwinnett County Upsilon Alpha Omega Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will provide blood pressure testing and breast cancer information free of charge to interested patrons beginning one hour before tip-off of Sunday's game. The Hyperbaric Therapy Center will also be on hand providing information about mHBT (mild Hyperbaric Therapy) and special give-a-ways.

"Sundays are always nice for our special groups, families, and youth teams," states Vision owner Akilah Townsend. "Girls Scouts, AAU teams, and church groups all come together in a positive environment for an afternoon of high-flying, basketball entertainment and a whole lot of fun!"
