East Kentucky Miners News Release
PIKEVILLE, KY. - Video is now available online at http://www.ekminers.com/ - the official Internet home of the East Kentucky Miners. The website now includes video featuring the East Kentucky Miners and Head Coach Kevin Keathley.
The Miners ended the 2007-08 regular-season 26-22. East Kentucky, playing in its debut season, fell to Pittsburgh in the opening round of the 2008 CBA Playoffs.
Three East Kentucky players - Boo Jackson, Josh Pace and Steve Thomas - earned All-CBA recognition during the team's inaugural campaign. Miners fans can view a video package entitled Coach Keathley Show Highlights by clicking under the Coach Kevin Keathley Show Presented by Appalachian Wireless logo on the front of the team's website. The package includes reality star Hoopz and a segment ala MTV's Cribs, featuring Coach Keathley in his crib.
By clicking on the Coaches section under the Roster portion of the website's front page, fans can view the Coach Kevin Keathley Coaching History video package. The link for the coaching history piece is located under the East Kentucky coach's photo.
Additional video packages will be added to the Miners website. A section of the website will feature extensive video footage of the CBA team. East Kentucky is currently accepting season ticket deposits for the 2008-09 season. Deposits for Miners season tickets for the 2008-09 season are $50. Placing a season ticket deposit now guarantees lowest pricing and priority seat selection. The East Kentucky professional basketball franchise is also offering a 5 percent referral credit to any of its existing season ticket holders who refer new customers to purchase season tickets. Fans are urged to check the Miners website for updates - including new video.
