
Venom to Create YouTube Contest for Fans

AMARILLO, Texas - The Amarillo Venom are proud to announce, as part of the Year of the Fan, a YouTube competition challenging the best fans in the Lone Star Football League to create a video displaying their fandom.
The Venom encourages its fans to create a YouTube video displaying creativity, fun and pure craziness - all while openly showing their allegiance to their defending Lone Star Football League champions.
Each home game, the Venom will award the #RUaTruFan with a $100 as well as playing their video on the video board at the Cal Farley Coliseum during each home game. At the final game on June 23, the video with the most views and likes will be given an additional $1,000. This video will be chosen amongst previous winners from prior home games.
The details for the YouTube competition will be available on the Amarillo Venom website under the Community tab.
The Venom takes pride in its fans and dedicates the 2014 campaign for the Year of the Fan.
