Amarillo, TX 4/9/12: Even though the Venom have a weekend off, that doesn't mean they're relaxing. This Saturday, April 14th the Venom players and coaches will be helping with the West Texas Youth Football League Combine as well as attending the Multiple Sclerosis Walk.

This Saturday, April 14th the Venom players will be attending and assisting with the Multiple Sclerosis Walk at Caprock High School from 10:00am-12:00pm. The players will be judging the "Team Tents" contest as well as the "T-Shirt" contest. The walk will take place in the Commons area of Caprock High School. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the day filled with fun activities to support the fight against Multiple Sclerosis and make a difference in the lives of those affected. Amarillo Venom Public Relations/Marketing Director, Erica Mercer said, "We are excited to have the Venom come out and support Walk MS in finding a cure."

Also on Saturday, April 14th at Bushland High School, from 9:00am - 4:00pm the Venom players and coaches will be assisting with the West Texas Youth Football League Combine. The Venom will be raising money for the league as well as building skills within young boys interested in football. The combine is to test the skills of young individuals and help them better their football talents. The Venom is very excited to get out into the community, interacting with football fans, and impacting as well as positively influencing the lives of young boys with big football dreams.
