
Velemirovich named SPHL Player of the Week

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Tim Velemirovich of the Fayetteville FireAntz, has been named the Sher-wood Hockey "Player of the Week" for the past week.
Velemirovich scored two goals and had eight assists in two Fayetteville wins this past week. He had a five assist performance in the 8-2 win over Pee Dee on Saturday. He is currently second on the FireAntz and third in the SPHL in points with 73.
He is the second straight Fayetteville forward to earn the award as Robert Sich claimed honors last week. The FireAntz have won seven games in a row and moved into a second place tie with Knoxville.
