Vancouver Volcanoes Ready for 2011 IBL Season

Head Coach/General Manager Bryan Hunter is entering his 5th season with the Vancouver Volcanoes. The Volcanoes as an organization are now 7 years old. Bryan Hunter will be bringing back several 2010 IBL All Stars as they came up 1-game short of reaching the IBL championship game in 2010. The Volcanoes had one of their most successful seasons in the IBL and look to rebound in the 2011 season. The current Vancouver Volcanoes roster for the 2011 season is as follows (so far):

Alex Hartman (6' 7")- Concordia University

Porter Troupe (6' 5")- University of Portland

Cliff White (6' 4")- Cascade College

Kevin 'Pip' Bloodshaw (6' 5")- University of Ozarks- Arkansas

Brad Lechtenberg (6' 2")- University of San Diego

Andre Murray (6' 2")- Portland State

Kevin Tyner (6' 1") Western Oregon

Bryson McKenzie (6' 11") Northern Illinois

Devin Uskoski (6' 7")- IBL All Star in 2010

The Vancouver Volcanoes tip off for the 2011 season is an away game at 7pm- on Friday April 29th at Whatcom Pavilion against the Bellingham Slam. The Volcanoes return the very next night, at home on April 30th to rematch with this same Bellingham Slam team (this home opener is at Clark College at 7pm on Saturday April 30th).
