
ValleyDawgs and Kings to play for USBL title

MILFORD, CT â The United States Basketball League, Inc. (USBL) finished an exciting second day of action in the Post-Season Festival, with the result an all Eastern Division match up. The Pennsylvania ValleyDawgs will take on the Brooklyn Kings for the 2004 USBL Title.
GAME 5 â PENNSYLVANIA VALLEYDAWGS 109, DODGE CITY LEGEND 98
The ValleyDawgs were led by Quincy Wadley in the win, as he 21 points; 10 coming from the free throw line. Tim Winn pumped in 20 points and Joe Crispin had 14 points in the win. Crispin hit three consecutive three-point field goals in the waning moments of the fourth quarter to put the game on ice for the ValleyDawgs. Rob Dye had 24 points for the Legend in the loss. Jermaine Tate had 10 rebounds to go with his 10 points. The Legend finishes their season with a 23-9 record.
GAME 6 â BROOKLYN KINGS 100, KANSAS CAGERZ 96
The Kings jumped out to an early 27-14 lead, which set the tone for the Kings and the Cagerz. Each time the Cagerz managed to pull close, the Kings hit a key bucket or converted on the free throw line to hold onto the lead, and eventually the win. Mike Campbell had a huge game with 44 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings. Antawn Dobie had 12 points, and BJ McFarlan 10 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Maurice Jeffers led the Cagerz with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Cleotis Brown had 20 points, and Lee Benson had 11 points, 10 rebounds, and a new USBL Playoff Record 8 block shots.
