Tri-City ValleyCats News Release
The Tri-City ValleyCats rallied with runs in the sixth and seventh, two in the eighth, and three in the ninth to top Trois-Rivieres, 8-7, on August 15.
Max Mandler (3-for-5, 2 R, 3 RBI) doubled in Brayden Jobert and Kai Moody in the top of the ninth before Wyatt Cameron came on to strikeout the side to secure the win.
The ValleyCats pushed their Frontier League lead to 23 triples thanks to a three-bagger from All-Star Dylan Broderick's third of the season in the fourth. Broderick also walked twice, stole a base, and scored twice.
RJ Stinson was 2-for-4 on the night with a run and an RBI and Kyle Caccamise drove in a run as well for Tri-City (32-50).
The Aiglees (30-53) had 15 hits overall and five runs in the first two innings. Plus, they got a 3-for-5 night from Drew Barragan who homered.
