HERRIMAN, Utah - - Utah Royals FC (1-3-1, 4 point) fell in penalty kicks to Houston Dash, ending it's time at the NWSL Challenge Cup presented by P&G and Secret.
The two sides battled back and forth throughout the regulation time, with solid chances from both teams. Numerous times goalkeeper Abby Smith and Houston goalkeeper Jane Campbell were called upon to keep their teams in the game during regulation to preserve the scoreline.
With the final whistle the match went straight into penalty kicks where Campbell proved to be the hero for her side, making two saves to lift her team to victory.

NOTES:
- Kelley O'Hara returned to the starting lineup for the Utah Royals FC for the first time since July 28, 2019 when an injury sidelined her for the remainder of the 2019 season.
- URFC bows out of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup in the quarterfinal stage.
