
Utah Royals FC Heads to Texas to Face Houston Dash

SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC, once again, takes to the road to face Houston Dash in the first of a two-game away stint on Friday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. MT at Rio Tinto Stadium.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC defeated Portland Thorns FC for the first time in franchise history 1-0 with a goal from DF Becky Sauerbrunn. Additionally, GK Nicole Barnhart recorded her tenth shutout of the year, the second-most for a single season in league history. The win helped Utah maintain its current fourth place playoff position.
Friday's match will mark only the second time URFC and the Dash have faced one another during the 2019 regular season. Thus far, the Dash have taken the upper hand, defeating Royals FC 2-1 on May 11. FW Amy Rodriguez scored the lone goal for Utah while Rachel Daly netted a brace to claim the win.
URFC enters Friday's match with a 2-1-1 (7 points) all-time record against Houston Dash, and is undefeated against the squad at BBVA Stadium in Texas.
