Utah Royals FC News Release
SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC have acquired a second-round pick in the 2021 National Women's Soccer League College Draft from the Chicago Red Stars in exchange for FW Makenzy Doniak, the club announced today.
"We want to thank Mak for her hard work and efforts over the past two years, especially in coming back from her ACL tear," General Manager Stephanie Lee said.
Doniak joined Utah on June 28, 2018 from the North Carolina Courage in exchange for the rights to Heather O'Reilly. After her arrival to the Utah club the striker sat out the remainder of the season as she recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament tear that she sustained while playing with the Courage.
In her sophomore season with Royals FC Donaik scored one goal in 11 matches.
