
USL Weekend Wrap-Up - June 7

USSF Division-2: The Austin Aztex continued their excellent run of form on Saturday, defeating Puerto Rico, 2-1. The Aztex's Yordany Alvarez scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute after the Islanders' Nicholas Addlerly equalized in the 35th minute. In Portland, the Timbers faced off against the Carolina RailHawks on Sunday evening. After a hard-fought 90 minutes, both sides had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
USL Second Division: The Richmond Kickers got back on track Saturday night, defeating the Charleston Battery, 3-1. The Charlotte Eagles defeated the Harrisburg City Islanders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday evening. On what was a stormy day with a tornado watch in effect, the Real Maryland Monarchs and Pittsburgh Riverhounds finished with a 0-0 draw on Sunday night.
PDL Round-Up
In this weekend's PDL Roundup, the featured topics are Des Moines' two-year unbeaten run away from home, Ocean City's rough start, Thunder Bay's blowout win over Kansas City and FC London staying undefeated, as well as recaps of some of the important contests.

USL W-League Round-Up
The W-League featured 11 shutouts this weekend, but that's not to say there was a lack of scoring in every game. In this weekend's W-League Round-Up, check out the recap of Ottawa's six-goal performance against Rochester. In other action, Hudson Valley Quickstrike defeated NJ Rangers 1-0, while Tampa Bay came out with a win and a draw after playing Charlotte back-to-back on Friday and Saturday.
