Published on August 13, 2010 under United Soccer League Championship (USL) News Release

TAMPA, Fla. - United Soccer Leagues has entered into a partnership agreement with Enterprise Rent-A-Car which will allow USL teams to receive the best available rental rates from Enterprise. The deal is the first of many sponsorship initiatives, designed to benefit USL teams, currently being developed by USL's sponsorships & corporate partnership department.

To take advantage of the preferred rates, which will be discounted below the prices available to the general public, USL teams can access the Enterprise Rent-A-Car page located on the 2010 USL SoccerFest website at www.uslsoccerfest.com. The preferred USL rates are available for the thousands who will be traveling to Tampa in November for USL SoccerFest, which includes the USL Super Y-League's 12th Annual North American Finals, the USL Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Five-A-Side Frenzy.

"This agreement is just the first step in USL's aggressive pursuit of national sponsorship deals that make sense not only at the league level, but will also benefit our senior level teams," USL CEO Alec Papadakis said. "Our focus is on the development of local, regional and national partnerships which will help lessen the financial burden on our teams while increasing their local revenue opportunities."

The 2010 USL SoccerFest is expected to draw more than 10,000 participants, family members, and spectators from throughout the world, with guests expected to fill more than 8,500 hotel room nights, consume more than 75,000 meals and use more than 800 rental cars.

The Super Y-League North American Finals will feature 140 boys and girls teams and nearly 3,000 players from throughout North America, with thousands of families traveling to Tampa from November 18-23. The event takes place simultaneously with the USL AGM, which includes hundreds of owners and executives from USL's professional and amateur teams, as well as other influential figures in the soccer community.
